9 Denton Trails to Explore!
Have you lived in your area all your whole life but still have so many trails you have not explored? Since I started leading hikes on my home trails, I often hear things like "I grew up in California and moved here a few years ago. There is just nothing to do here" and while I totally know where people are coming from and I have said this myself countless times, I have made it my mission to explore more and prove you can enjoy the outdoors even in Texas.
So I did some research for all the major Texas cities, reached out to local groups and came up with a few great places to start exploring depending on how much time you have and if you want to bike or hike.
To make it even more fun, I put these trails on a bingo card and a map so you can see where they all are and check them off as you explore them! Head to your app store and download the new (and free) TrailBingo app to start exploring! When you get a blackout on your TrailBingo card, you can win a prize!
Today I want to highlight our Denton Trails card. Don't forget to download it today and check in when you are at the trail! If you forget, don't worry! You can click "notify an admin" on that trail square to submit that trail. I would love to know which ones YOU have been to so let me know in the comments.
Remember to always plan ahead, make sure the trail is open and follow Leave No Trace principles.
