9 Dallas Trails you HAVE to check out!

Best Dallas Trails

I have lived in the Dallas area all my life but I still have so many trails I have not explored! However, since I started leading hikes on my home trails, I often hear things like "I grew up in California and moved here a few years ago. There is just nothing to do here" and while I totally know where people are coming from and I have said this myself countless times about DFW, I have made it my mission to explore this metroplex and prove you can enjoy the outdoors even in DFW.

So I did some research, reached out to local groups like DORBA, Sisterhood hikes and such, Hikerbabes and DFW Hiking and Outdoors and came up with a few great places to start depending on how much time you have and if you want to bike or hike.

To make it even more fun, I put these trails on a bingo card and a map so you can see where they all are and check them off as you explore them! Head to your app store and download the new (and free) TrailBingo app to start exploring DFW! We have cards for trails, paved trails, mountain bike trails (check the DORBA cards) and more!

Today I want to highlight our Dallas Trails card. These are trails that are mostly for hikers! I would love to know which ones YOU have been to so let me know in the comments.

Remember to always plan ahead, make sure the trail is open and follow Leave No Trace principles.
